Employment Standards

FORUS Industry provides exceptional service to its internal and external customers. Employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that projects a positive, safe and efficient work environment. Employees will present themselves in a professional manner and treat one another with dignity and respect.

Performance

FORUS Industry provides its employees with challenging assignments, opportunities to develop new skills and qualifications and opportunities to excel through performance. We communicate our expectations through individual and organizational goals and objectives. We expect employees to take the initiative to ask questions and request assistance from supervisors when and as needed to fulfill their goals, to perform at the highest level and to pursue their interests and fulfill their potential in alignment with company objectives. We offer constructive feedback and opportunities for employees to improve performance through annual performance evaluations, or more frequent verbal or written communications and interactions with supervisors and functional managers. When employee conduct or performance does not meet requirements, we may use a process of verbal and/or written communication and discipline to provide employees with reasonable opportunities to improve and maintain performance and conduct at acceptable levels. Behaviors or performance that are disruptive to the workplace, other employees or the company’s work or work products will result in immediate disciplinary action that may include termination.

Professional Development

FORUS Industry encourages and supports training and development, participation in professional organizations, professional registrations and educational programs for its employees as a means to strengthen individual knowledge and skills, which are related to their assigned duties and that, are necessary or desirable in order to sustain the excellence of services provided by FORUS Industry. In addition to sponsoring internal education programs, with advance supervisor approval, the company may provide financial assistance to employees in the form of normal pay for the time requirements to take a competency examination (if during normal business hours) and reimbursement for the fees and materials required to prepare for and take the exam.
